Muse Research Receptor Hardware VST Player - AS IS
The answer to the computer fearing - ahem... avoidant - musician who wants access to the latest and greatest sound creation and manipulation tools that are only available as software. The aim behind the Receptor is run any VST format virtual instrument or plug in effect from a dedicated OS, as such the unit is a flexible and powerful cross between a multi-timbral synth module and a multi-effects processor.
- Supports standalone operation, allowing you to use VST effects and VSTi instruments without a computer
- Capable of handling up to 16 internal and external audio signals simultaneously
- Able to play up to 57 VST effects simultaneously
- Compatible with standard keyboard, mouse, and monitor for user convenience
- Connects to Windows computers for additional downloading and editing capabilities
- Features a sturdy construction designed to withstand live performances
- Portable and suitable for studio use to replicate your DAW effects
Please note the monitor is only included with in-store pickup.
This unit has been tested to the extent of powering on and beginning the boot process. At times it becomes stuck on the initialising screen. This may be related to a drained CMOS battery, which can cause the BIOS to reset.
Once past the initialising stage, the buttons respond as expected. However, we have not been able to fully test the system, and we cannot guarantee that servicing or firmware updates will resolve the issue.
Sold as-is for repair or parts.
