Industrial Music Electronics Bionic Lester mk1.5
This module revives the original “Mark 1” Bionic Lester circuit, paired with the never-before-released “Mark 2” control layout. The first Bionic Lester appeared in 2012 and saw only a single production run. It’s built around a rare switched-capacitor filter IC that offers multiple outputs and four distinct operating modes, each imparting its own unique overdrive character.
Differences from original module: * Reverse power protection * Metal shaft pots, long life * this time ALL of the knobs are MK2 style * Resistor network and opamp package substitutions for compact PCB layout and greater manufacturability * Output mixer and A/B crossfader. A feature from the planned but never designed “Aggro Eddie” expander. Enables more elaborate feedback and overdrive patches.
