Electro Harmonix Big Muff Pi Black Russian V8
V8 second edition. The final version of the Muff to be produced in Russia, this particular Big Muff takes the classic Sovtek fuzz circuit and packs it into a tougher, more compact black enclosure. Known for its darker, grittier voice compared to the typical NYC Big Muff, it delivers thick sustain with more mids, helpful for cutting through in the mix. The (slightly) smaller footprint makes it easier to fit on a pedalboard, while still retaining the raw, woolly character that makes the Russian series so sought after.
Has scratchy pots. Original switch has been replaced.
