Make Noise New Universal Skiff System

The New Universal Skiff System is a compact, integrated modular synthesizer designed for multi-channel and polyphonic patching using control voltages. At its core are eight voices of synthesis and modulation, allowing complex polyphonic structures to be built from a streamlined set of controls.

MultiWAVE provides eight dual wavetable oscillators, while PoliMATHS supplies eight complex function generators for modulation. Two QXG modules deliver eight channels of low-pass gate dynamics with animated stereo mixing. MultiMod expands modulation possibilities by generating eight time-shifted variations of a single control signal, while QPAS adds stereo multi-mode, multi-peak filtering. Final stereo mixing and monitoring are handled by XOH, with line-level and headphone outputs.

The system is housed in a 3U skiff with a 2-zone bus board and USB-C input, allowing MultiWAVE to be triggered via MIDI or MPE from a USB MIDI host. Fifteen patch cables are included.
